HARDING
ENERGY, INCORPORTATED
Harding
Energy Inc. was founded in 1987 by local businessmen
and physicians in the western Michigan area. Lead by
Doctor Nicholas Pietrangelo and his relationship with
Stan Ovshinsky, inventor of Nickel Metal Hydride technology,
Harding was one of the first companies to obtain a license
from Energy Conversion Devices (ECD) to manufacture
and distribute NiMH batteries and battery assemblies.
Harding
has evolved from a single line cell manufacturer to
a global battery solution provider. Products range from
single cells that are distributed to assemblers for
battery pack manufacturing, to the most complicated
smart battery technology solutions coupled with intelligent
chargers. Harding has 100 different cell sizes making
them one of the largest cell providers in the world
with production capabilities exceeding 3,000,000 units
per month. Harding offers Li-Ion, Li-Polymer, Ni-MH,
charging systems and smart boards to complete their
product line.
Not only
is Harding a world-class manufacturer, but also their
staff is extremely well versed and has many years experience
in the electronics and battery industry. President and
CEO, David Clow has been in the electronic industry
in excess of 30 years and brings a global knowledge
to Harding. With his several years of experience matched
with his education, he brings a tremendous amount of
resources and talent that is necessary to run and orchestrate
the departments within the Harding Corporation.
Bryan Cannon,
Director of Engineering, received his training and education
from Michigan Institute of Technology. Bryan has been
supervising several engineering departments since 1995
bringing years of experience and applying them to every
application. Steve Morgan has been the Sales and Marketing
Director for 13 years at Harding Energy. His engineering
training backed with a Marketing and Business degree
allows him to discuss any application and turn it into
a new business opportunity.

Business
Practices
Samples:
Harding Energy, Inc. typically will produce three working
samples within 10 working days of a "standard" battery
pack if correct information has been supplied with a
minimum of a completed Application Worksheet for free.
Harding will typically give up to 16 samples of a single
cell for testing if proper information is supplied.
All component and instrument testing is complementary
unless it involves tooling, design, or other special
requirements out of our standard test regime.
Warranty:
Harding Energy, Inc. warrantees all their product to
be defective free for a period of (1) one year. The
product needs to be returned to Harding for evaluation
and testing to determine the cause of failure. A Corrective
Action Form will be produced if failure was caused by
Harding Energy's manufacturing practices.
Returns:
Customer must obtain an RMA from Harding Energy prior
to returning any product. Harding will accept the return
and test the product for defects. Harding will respond
within 7 working days on the returned product. If the
product is faulty due to Harding, the product will be
replaced and returned to the customer.
Credits:
Harding Energy will credit any return but will replace
it with product not cash disbursement.

allows all of that to be purchased from one source and
can guarantee the compatibility.
30-watt adaptable charger for prototyping and off
the shelf solutions
To save the Designer/Engineer time and money, Harding
has an off the shelf charger that can be adapted to
any size or voltage battery pack. This will allow the
