Traditionally, Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) have been the most dominant in this market. However, recent improvements in the rate of capability of Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) has made this chemistry more suitable for construction applications. Li-Ion based cells provide exceptional power, safety and charge time.
